Looms, Poppins, and Maggianos

Today was a great day. The day began with crescent roll surprise, which is essentially a marshmallow buriend inside of a crescent roll that is covered in cinnamon and sugar. After that, Anika played "mom" to me, and put me down for several naps, none which were long enough to actually get any sleep. Since I have discovered the excitement of Rainbow Looms, Anika and I made a bracelet together for her to wear.

Later in the day around 1:45, mom (Susie) picked up Eric and she took him to see Mary Poppins at Lincolnshire, along with Aunt Sally and JJ. Eric was super excited and even wore his "party" clothes. When we met up with them at Papa and Susie's house, Eric was a ball of energy.

Prior to all of that though, Codi, Anika, and myself headed out for dinner at Maggiano's. Anika ate everything we ate. She isn't really a "picky" eater, but I was surprised how much she seemed to enjoy mushroom ravioli and lasagna. She loved the flatbread pizza appetizer which did not come as a surprise considering the fact that she is an avid pizza lover. I do feel bad that Eric can't join us at meals like that, but on the flipside, it is certainly nice to be able to go out for a date with the girls (and I know Eric had a blast with his cousin, Aunt, and Gramma).
